You've to insert the serial number the first time you load VDJ.
But if you made it crash the first time, it will ask again for the serial also the second one.
That's annoying...

I noticed that too after you load the serial if you crash it before you close and open it you will need to modify anything you have made custom. My advice is load the serial and and custom things like favourite folder and colums then immediately close VDJ then open....

If you have a recover it should save it anyway.
whatever, in the final version there won't be (I hope) any crash left, so that doesn't matter.
