Don't you think it would be very usefull to have a plugin that allows you to use DirectX plugins ?

To be honest: I've tried to do this for WinAmp DSP Plugins, and I studied all WinAmp DSP API, but I never managed to do it. No examples source code of it are aviable neither.
Steph has made the visual wrapper, so if I'd have the source code of that one it'd become loads easier, or he could do it very easy.

I was wondering myself why Atomix doesn't support DirectX plug-ins natively since its a DirectX app anyway. Plenty of nice, almost latency free plug-ins available for DirectX.

There's a difference between MS DirectX (eg used in games) and the DirectX API for sound editing programs!!!!! It has the same name, but isn't the same at all!!!
