I believe I've read every post in the forum now, and I've not seen this idea mentioned:
I think it would be very nice to be able to click on (or even better, highlight) a position of the track currently playing and hear that section play through the headphones.
I don't know how it is for everyone else, but sometimes I forget exactly how a break ends (or starts), and would like to refresh my memory in order to insure that the mix will turn out the way I want. You don't want to mix vocals on top of vocals, etc...
I could give other examples of why I think it would be useful as well, but,.. you get the idea, right..?
BTW --> I'm still ill about losing my database. VDJ neede to store it's track info in ID3, and also needs the capacity to modify file names while the track to be modified is playing, or in cue.

this sounds like a great idea, even if it were possible to show the time postion of the song you are highliting.......sounds like a project for the team.
