Topic: more beats for a loop

there's the 2 beat loop, 4 beat, 6 beat, and 8 beat....is there a way I can make it any longer? like 16, or any number beat I want?

No, not to my knowledge there is no way to make a 16beat loop, not unless you try making your own plugin.... and even then im not sure how well it will work, if it works at all.........

A 16 Beat loop would require a large buffer, Meaning you will need plenty of memory. The team did not think this was such a great idea since many of the user's wouldn't have the memory requirements. I find that 8 beats is still pretty functional.

edit the bpm and halve the amount. then u have still have the same loops, but double the length
 
If it is that easy to do this way, then why can't it be done when the bpm is correct? Surely the memory requirements would be similar?

just a thought is all.......
 
Oh, come on, memory? Even if the song was as slow as 60bpm, a 16 beat loop would require only about 1mb.
