Hi
Hope someone can help i am sure this is a common set up issue but it is driving me bananas! I have Home edtion 2.03, and have it set up on the sound configaration so that it uses a stereo splitter one runs to desktop speakers (2, right and left ) and the other to the headphones. Rather than splitting 1 desk to one sound source it splis the sound between the left and right speakers, on both the desk top speakers and my headphones. What am i doing wrong?
PS. My sound card is an Avance AC97 if it is of any relivance. My PC is only three years old and runs xp so all the hardware is pretty up to date.

Sounds like you are using a duplicator not a splitter. a duplicator just makes 2 jacks playing the same sound, like if you and a buddy wanted to listen to cd player together. a splitter seperates the left channel from the right channel.
also how is you soundcard selction setup in the setting on VDJ?
