Hi,
I have a problem with VDJ. I'm using a DJ console from Hercules. When I play music with deck one and start with deck two I'm getting a noise over the music (cracking sound). When I change the settings from the DJ console from Advanced to ASIO the problem is solved. Only I can't use the headphone no more. Is their a better solution to solve the problem. I have tried a lot of things (tweak XP, direct x, new soundcarddrivers etc.) but with no result.

make sure you have updated your windows with the latest hotfixes.
or go to windows-update en get all the critical updates for your windows (including the USB-hotfix).

DJCannonball,
Thanks.
Last night I've installed the USB-hotfix. It seems to be better. Their are still some ticks when I play MP3's ripped at 192kbs.
When I rip the same track on 128kbs the ticks are gone. So it seems to be working.
Marcel

try to find out if your mp3's are any good by playing them by winamp. if you get the same results, your mp3's are no good i'm afraid.
