Topic: How do I begin to mix?

I just downloaded the virtual dj 3.3 for a free trial, and I have some songs, but seem to be lost on how to get started. I would like to mix some rock N roll songs with techno, or electronica. How do I get started? Thanks

How do you get started doing what? Plugging it in, ripping, setting up your soundcard? Can you be a little more specific?
