Does anyone know of a good MP3 ID Tagger? Looking for one where basically all I need to do is browse to my mp3 folder, and the software will search all sub folders and tag all my music with the correct information. I have seen a couple, however wasn't impressed. So if anyone has used something that works great please let me know.
I use mixmeister to get the BPM information.

Thanks

I personally use "zortam mp3 media studio" it works very good, you can try the demo first at www.zortam.com
regards.

but beware,
i used ,mp3tag and once it re-wrote the tags, it also erased the vdj bpm info in the tags..

i did of course rename them (removed the underscores etc), but still....

for me MediaMonkey (http://www.mediamonkey.com/) is the unbeatable king. It can even download track names and art covers directly from Amazon's database. Check it out to see if it has the features you're looking for.

Personally i use iTunes to rip and import tracks. I then redo the id tags and voila vdj reads them just fine. lol

Well I have been using Virtuso Gold, That is great software to extract your cd's to mp3 and it does the mp3 id tags. However, I am looking for something that will automatically do my entire collection on its own. I do not feel like, nor have the time to manually do all the tags myself. I will check into the mapmonkey program and give that a shot. Mixmiester does good with the bpm, but the rest of the info would be great.

I also use "The Godfather"

Pretty complex to get used to, but once you've got it, it's second nature ;)
