When using my external Hd's with virtual DJ for karaoke and Video Effects I have interfierance on the attached screens but not on the pc one - It doesn't happen when I use just the internal HD on the laptop to play the files though. I know for a fact this is nothing to do with Virtual DJ but I am looking for some suggestions to resolve the problem.....
I don't get the problem when I use my friends external HD on my laptop either so that narrows it down to my external HD's - although both are made by different manufacturers!!
I live in the UK and I assume there will be an earth wire in my cables to the power supplies - Would it resolve the problem if I disconnected the earth wires??
Thanks for any help!!

I had inteference once, changed the video wire from the back of the laptop to the switch box for a better quality piece of wire and it solved it. In my case the wire obviously wasn't insulated enough to cut out interference.
