use an external program to cut up your tracks
record your mixes on hard drive in a conveinient format (mp3 I assume)
then open the file in a editor (i use Cool Edit Pro)
basically it's a muti-track recording program
set up cue points in your mix
highlight from cue point to cue point (one song)
save highlighted section as a new filename(usually the song title)
save the files in order that you want to record them on the cd
open your buring software
burn cd using the "no space between tracks" disc at once method
works just fine for me

When i want to create a CD, i use the split into multiple files option with the option that allows the tracks to split on crossfade
Works good, Sounds good.
I just make a new folder when i do it, then burn it with nero, so that i can delete the gap between tracks.
Good luck with that
