Is there a special record that is used with the webcam?
Is is beter to use a usb camera or have a video capture card installed?

There is no need for special record....
But recommended to have a record with a center (label) that has a high contrast (so that webcam "sees" movements good)...
For eksample halv/half black and white center....
Never tried it myself, and are REALLY interessted to hear from anybody who have tried it!?
What kinda cam is best? I got no idea really.. maybe someone else got an answer?

I tried it when Vdj came out with one of the first demos,
using a Sony video camera connected to analog video in of a pci tv card and not a webcam.
With this setup i had full screen 25fps color video.
The problem was that it was not reliable.
I had to use the calibration button every 2-3 minutes,
to adjust the light etc. Also the player (vcd) suddenly
started or stopped, or was like pushing play/start button
repeatedly.
I was thinking then, if it was so sensitive to the light conditions at home, then in a club it will be worst.
