I have had problems with karaoke files that I ripped to mp3 & cdg using Audiograbber. The video of the words is garbled at times. I have tried ripping it on a friends computer that also uses VDJ and it rips fine. I have played his ripped file on my VDJ and it is OK. I thought it was the CD drive so I bought a Plextor 750A internal drive, but it still is a problem.
Ive tried varying the speed and used Lame & Blade encoders with no difference.
I'm starting to think that maybe it is the computer itself. I have a Compaq Presario 44 purchased in 2002 with XP Home. 80 Gig HD, 60 Gig Available, 384K memory.
Any help would be appreciated

just use cdg ripper from http://tricerasoft.com/karaoke_software/CDG_Ripper_Extraction_Tool.html it rips them to mp3+g and even names the tracks for you take my word for it i had to rip about 45,000 karaoke songs then u can use some freeware like mp3g toolz to batch convert to zip files ..one more thing for this a plextor cd drive is best
