Since plugins VST and DX (thank you Dj in Norway) can be used with VDJ, it could be interesting to classify them to be able to select them quickly.
So:
---
---> It is possible to organize its effects by creating subfolders in the "Effects" folder.
---> It is also possible to rename .dll without corrupting them.
This way of making can serve.
As for me I created subfolders "DX", "VDJ" and "VST".
I rename the effects in the following way: "VDJ echo" "VDJ Brake", "VST XXX", ...
Good mix everybody

Would actually be nice :)
I have made subfolders with original VDJ plugins, and VST plugins... but they all show up in the "folder" in VDj.
So, subfolders will not do it, as of now.. Maybe in updates.
renaming the DLL file does not do anything, because the DLL file has a "name" of the plugin inside... but maybe there is an editor that can edit that information. Don't know...
Can have a look on Google to see... :)

Indeed, renaming the DLL's has no effect on them. They will work just the same (what's important is it's content, not it's name).

That's because every plugins appear in the same windows that I renamed all of them "VST xx", "VDJ xx"
I think it's more clear.

but then again...
I dont see me needing more that about 10 plugins...
A nice echo, good flanger, tremble, phaser and a few more... and maybe a couple for fun, like vocoder and "manipulator"
An even more hardcore plugin user would maybe have about 15-20... I guess...
So, if you have, say 20, there is no need for subfolders, I guess..
Anyway, we will make a Top 10 list at VST forum in a little while... sort out the best ones :)
I try a lot of VST's now, but delete most after tried, because I really don't need that many...
:)

Yep let's build a top 10 or top 20 list.
I'm testing a few ones and I'll tell you ASAP.
