Hi all.

I have some problems configuring VDJ with my sound card. The problem is that i cant get the preview in my headphones and play the other deck live at the same time.

I know this has probably been asked a 100 times but is there a trick to configure it right? I have set the VDJ configurations to 4.1 with the speakers and headphones conected to the same sound card.

Im using a RealTek ac97, do I need a second sound card or is this one sufficient?

The Realtek soundmannager that i got is not exactly great, im using a 5.10.0.6060 driver.

Any help would be greatly appreciatet.

first of all in order to work with mode 4.1 you need the pro version and you can get it from here, you're still on time to get the special internet offer:

http://www.virtualdj.com/purchase/

secondly I don't think that realtek supports to work with 5.1 system, so I recommend you a soundblaster live, it works perfectly with the mode you want and is not expensive (about $35).

Best Configuration:

1) Need to buy VDJ Pro to get all VDJ working as it should

2) a 4.1 or better soundcard.

3) smile
