I think that laptop will be much more than adequate for VDJ.

I use a rackmount PC, but i have a Dell Laptop for backup, which has a 2ghz celeron processor, 256 ram, onboard sound and video.. and it runs VDJ 4.0 just fine.

This laptop is all you need for video mixing. You have to get usb sound card, I recommend ESI U46DJ or Hercules MK2.

I agree the specs are ok to run video with however i've not personally tested.

good equipment, videos will run very good with this...

Good Choice ;-)

Well I got the new laptop that I had put the specs to see if it would work & it does but the audio output sounds bad, what I mean by that is that the highs are way too high.I tried to play with the eq but doesn't help.I'm using 3.4 because I saw too many bad post on the forum about 4.0.I'm using usb gigaport ag as my sound card vob files ripped w/the vdj ripper the sound plays fine through wmp but when I play it through vdj3.4 it sounds pretty bad . Is there anything that I can do.
