Sometimes when I press the paly button on my Hercules console the unit is not responding straight away.
I have to press it a second time, before it really starts the song on VDJ.
Very ennoying when you are mixing.
Anyone has a solution for this?
Maybe open it up and replace the buttons?

A lot of Hercules DJ console MK1 (First model) have this problem and one Italian guy have solved this with change of the Play & Cue switches

Is this solved with the MK2, are the keys more responsive.

mine was sticky too.after one year of light use its complitly gone.i use pc mouse to play which is really annoying.i try to open my consule but i dont know how to open inside consule.any idea?

I've heard users fix the mk1 by adding come contact foil under the play and cue buttons, if you search this forum you might find the thread on how they did it...

Well yesterday, I bhought a Hercules DJ console MP3, I have a separate soundcard after all, so I could save some money on this.
Well was I surprised that the keys indeed are super responsive.
They react instantly as I expect them to do, now let's see how it will be after a few months of DJ-ing.
Although I must say that I was a bit dissapointed that with the MP3 console no cover is supplied :-(, shame on you Hercules to save some bucks.
