hi was just wonderin does anybody here use shure m44-7 needles? and do u use it for a hip hop use? please tell m what kind of styles of music u use them with and tell meow they work fa u!

Maybe I shouldn't answer. Are you looking to buy, or do you have them? I play hip hop & I scratch a lot(at least i think that's what i'm doing). I asked a fellow(experienced) dj about the m44-7 needles & he recommended digitracks. He used to use the m44-7 before he got serato then switched to digitracks & said they were awesome. I got them like three weeks ago & I also think they're great.

I have a friend with Serato and he has 3 different types of Ortofons (which I favor), but he wants to get the Shure's since he says that they stay in the groove better, and don't eat up the vinyl like the Blue DJS ortofons do.
The Shure are what most of the Skratch Pikles used last time I checked, and they do sound awesome I will admit. (even though I like the DJS's better, but I don't do vinyl anymore).
They are worth it. (the shure's)

is there a way when i pick up the needle i can have the song stop just like on real vinyl and position it on another will it keep layin? what i want ti be able to pick up the neetle have it stop like real vinyl and reposition the needle have it play again is there a way t do this? please tell me how thanks all u guys for all youtr help!!!

Do you mean pick up the needle probably like in the middle of a playing song then position it in the beginning of the TCV to start the song like real vynil? If that's what you mean, that would be the needle drop feature which is set by an option called absolute mode. It works, but not perfectly. I guess the team is working to perfect it. Maybe in the next update.(Don't quote me on that). But so far vynil use is good. If you pick up the needle, the song will definetely stop playing & keep on playing when you replace it.

is there a way when i get the asio soundcard and i click on time code congig a box comes up. is there a way mute the timecode signle so i cant hear it on my records? or is this done automaticlly please tell me how thanks!!!

by the way im usin v4 of vdj v4.1 um so what i ment was when i insatall the maya 44 soundcatd and click on the asio drivers and click tcv config there a ox that pops up. and how do i mute tcv sigle what i mean how do i mute timecode vinyl signle so i dont hear it when i play my records thanks guys!
