can I get an input on building a rackmount pc these are what I'm thinking to get
antec 3spce rackmount chassis w/550 power supply
Intel core2 duo e6700 2.67ghz w/4 m cache 1066mhz bus
intel d975xbxlkr motherboard
4gb of 667mhz ddr2 memory
4-500gb western digital sata2 harddrives w/16mb cache
2-ati radeon x1950xtx crossfire w/512mb videocards
windows media center edision
What do you think?????

Do you guys do mobile or clubs with a rack mount? I built a rack mount a couple years ago and had to convert the insides to a small tower. I found (at least in my area) it was easier to hide/fit a small tower in the various clubs I work at than to fit a rack mount. Just curious.

I'm currently using xp home for my laptop w/vdj & it works but for the rackmount pc should I stay w/xp home or go to xp pro?I guess you are telling me not to use xp media I will take that advice but wich xp should I get?

I do a weekly (not club) where I only need to bring my computer( small shuttle system)
ALso I do mobils gigs where I need to bring everything.
Right now would not be good for me to rackmount computer.

yo. if ur going rackmount, go PCI card like the M-Audio Delta44. I have your specs almost identically running with a Delta44 @ 48,000 / 64 samples and i get 0.8ms latency. its awsome. thats only if ur using TC of course.

Well the pc should be ready next week but I still don't know wich soundcard should I use IO do not do tc so should I go with a usb card or go with an internal & wich one do you recomend?
