hi all
i am thinking of getting the numark dxm09 to use as a ext mixer with my herc mk2 as just the controller
i like the idea of being able to use the third chanell for the vert dj sampler as well
my question is if was useing the fx on the dxm09 like flanger tape echo etc would i be able to still record my mixes with the effects from dxm09 still comeing through to the mix if so how would i conect it up to do so

have read verious posts on the forum but still a bit confused on whether it can be done or not
any help would be much apriciated if it can be as i would like to get one

thanks aubs

yeah you should be able to do that. im not sure if the dmx09 has a record or booth out line but just get the master out into the line-in of your mk2, then record from vdj.

Skyfx,

Is it ok to connect the external mixer to my mk2 without using turntables?

I tried this last night with my Ueri 1601s and it sounded like crap

I have the console verson of VDJ that came with my MK2

where is the setting for external mixer?

Thanks
