Are there instructions on setting up for Just Mk1 Console with VDJ.

plug your mk1 in the usb slot of your computer and the usb slot of the mk1 and then choose remote control in the config and enable dj concil, and then to to soundsetup page and choose your internal computer soundcard from the dropdown list, and it should work.......... hope that helps!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

step 1 .
download the latest driver package
http://ts.hercules.com/eng/index.php
2. run the installer
then when prompted plug in the card ,
it will install
then as wessmith says , go to remote control on virtual dj options
tick herc dj console ,
now if you wish to use it as a soundcard its not good as the mk2
now on sound config choose mk1 dj console

Use AUTO for latency.
And have safe mode off.
Then adjust the slider as high as your PC will allow ;)
