Topic: Internal S/C Config - Page: 1

Dieser Teil des Themas ist veraltet und kann veraltete oder falsche Informationen enthalten

Hi,
Does anyone have an idiots guide on how to configure the internal soundcard and a PCI one to get the two inputs required for use with TCV's?

If there is a guide in a blog somewhere or a simple guide it would really help me out.

Thanks
J

ok choose

Two Soundcards

choose the internal as the right , and the pci as left

then choose two timecodes

go to proformance

choose "autolatency"

then go to the timecode config

play the signal then double click autoconfig :)

should now be at 100%

Thanks - I've tried and the left deck works fine.

When trying the autoconfig on the right deck it comes up with "no timecode signal found".

I have the right on the internal soundcard as suggested.

Do you think my internal soundcard isn't working? I don't know how to check it.

Thanks
J

ps - your posting on controllers was a great guide.

ho hum

and its pluged into the line in ?

cables all working?

which card?

Make sure you are not using the MIC In for the internal soundcard. VDJ TC requires a Stereo signal - MIC In is MONO.

Cheers, which colour should I be plugging the cable into?

It is currently in the blue one.

The others are yellow, pink green and black.

Thanks
J

should be blue for line in

which card is it?

Hi,
I've checked with the manual and the blue is the line in.

I can only guess that the internal soundcard isn't working and all the sound is set up to go through to the PCI card.

I don't know how to check if the internal is working so I'm going to get a cheap s/c from PC world tomorrow. They're about £12 and I'm hoping it will help.

Happy New Year.

Thanks
J

goodluck !

but before you do

autolatency on both cards?

I've got auto latency selected but I'm only seeing one place to select it. Should there be a another place to select for the second card then?

na just one , was worth a shot :)

could you post a screenshot of your wavform on control pannel

using www.tinypic.com

to upload and get bb code

on the time code options window

the green and red lines

try on

soundcard

choose dual card :)

and your two cards
see what happens

are you using 3.4?

nope
4.2r1

That looks like 3.4 to me unless you have the old skin on 4.2.

Thats defo 4.x version of VDJ ;) look at the setup window....

But input AND output are at SAME channel 3/4

That wont work!
