Whilst working last night, I lost a channel :(
Its never happened before, but most of my nights are usually only 4-5 hours. This was about 5 1/2 hours in, and a channel just stopped outputting audio. Luckily for me it was near midnight and we had a live PA at that time, so I limped along on CDs for a couple of minutes!
Once the PA was on I exited VDJ, unplugged and reconnected the sound card and restarted. It then held up for the remainder of the night without problems.
Sound card is a Creative Audigy 2 NX, running on Virtual DJ 4.2.
Any thoughts?
Also, anyone have any feedback on the M-Audio Fast Track Pro USB?
Regards,
Scott

Might be the millenium bug, 7 years late... ;)

Ha ha, maybe....
Like I said, I've never had the problem before, autolatency is selected and I don't get any crackling or other sound problems at all.
I know the soundcard is a bit, erm, crap - hence the question about the M-Audio one ;)

Hopefully I won't have to ;)
On the plus side, one of the punters who is a user of another program is now considering converting after seeing it in action with my DAC-3 :)

The USB cable is fine - I was still getting audio from the other channel after all. The card is only about 3 months old.
For the price, the Fast Track Pro seems like a very suitable product - the only other one I was considering was an Edirol, but that was over twice the price...
