I have tried both & it will close after a very short time playing a music video. Numarks Cue did not do that and it's 4.1. One thing i noticed that when i downloaded 4.2 it had said that it only had 4 days left on it. 4.1 said it had -0- days left and i had just downloded it. Whats up. I could'nt buy and have a software do that to me when i'm playing for 200 hundred people. I need a stable software.

i suggest you remove all the expired versions
and any other versions you may have been using
and get one copy of the demo
i would aslo recomend you dont use demo copies of the software live!
with out testing on your machine

You can try all day long to get around the 20-day limit but it's pretty useless and futile.
Since CUE and VirtualDJ are the same engines your 20-days started with the CUE install and you (I am pretty sure) won't get another 20-days by installing VirtualDJ's demo. Now if you are interested and serious about purchasing there have been occasions when you can get an extension by making your request here ( http://www.virtualdj.com/contact/ ).
Good Luck.
