Topic: CANT USE ITUNES PLAYLIST

Hi im using Version 4.2r1.
My problem is that I have loaded my itunes folders to the paylist library but just get error messages when i try to select tracks. None of my music is from itunes music store and all are in mp3 format. the error message I get is something like "impossible to play this track"

Please help

that is because you can only play apple pruchased content in apple software

Another problem I have is when I got this laptop, I transferred my music files from my old pc using my ipod. When I open my music folder now, all the files are coded e.g AEYT, ZRAZ etc, which I dunno if thats Id3 tagging or not but obviously something Itunes does as my itunes library is fine.
Now when I open my VDJ library most of the tracks are listed in this way and is oviously a nightmare to find the tracks I want. In config menu I do have Id3 tag reading on.

PLease help yet again
 
have you tried scanning all the files using the scanning tool. choose any music

this should bring the titles into the program

however if it doesnt , pro users have acess to a tool called the database update tool , which builds a database built on id3
