I have the hercules dj console mk2 and am going to get the numark battle pack which comes with a 2 channel mixer. Am i able to use that mixer with the mk2 or do i have to get a 3 channel

heya , you can use a 2 channel with the herc although , the one with the battle back isnt that great id personaly keep using the mk2 as the mixer aslo :)
you can use the input select button to switch from mp3 to vinyl :) on the mk2

If i did use the other mixer will i be able to retain all the features i already have suche as mic, and headphone monitoring.

the free mixer in the numark package isnt that advanced i think it might have a slider to choose what to have on headphones but it might just have a headphone output of the mix

so I wouldnt be able to use the mic out and headphone out on the mk2 and have the mixer for fading and such. a 3 channell mixer is recomended by hercules, what would be the advantages over a 2 channel mixer.
