wondering what config I need to send 2 stereo tracks out of the m audio fast track pro..so i can preview tracks and run two channels on my mixer...any advise

choose

inputs : none
output : 2 line mixer
card : fast track pro
 
For outputs The only choices I have are:
single output
headphones
external mixer
3-lines mixer

and in the initial soundcard drag down...no choice for fast track pro..

If I try the external mixer with 2 cards listed...it will play correctly..but the sound on 3 and 4 is very poor...I must not have it hooked up right...Am I looking in the right place???

try 2 cards still but on proformance options try

If it only shows up as "Usb Sound Card" and not "Fast Track Pro" the drivers are not installed correctly and you will not be able to use 4 channel or ASIO mode

i will try tomorrow. it does show up as fast track pro...thnaks i will check back tomorrow with results

It works...but now there is a serious click/song drag in the right deck and sound degredation...any thoughts

I am running an
AMD turion 64 duo core
1 gig of Ram
switched from Vista to a stripped XP (soundcard wasn't vista ready)
running off a Western Digital external 120g Hard drive with like 10,000 songs

also...when I switch back to simple mode...it skips while automixing

help!!

fixed simple mode problem by adjusting some items in performance tab....channel b still sucks in dual mode though...advise?
