I'm currently running Numark Cue/Virtual DJ off a MacBook Pro and I'm having a bit of trouble with setting up an external soundcard.
I own a Total Control Deck and a M-Audio Audiophile Firewire external card.
The card works absolutely flawlessly when I'm only using one audio output for it, as in if I select to only use one audio driver the card belts out sound perfectly
The problem comes when I try to use a setup like headphones & audio, and split the sound at all, (The entire reason I bought the box for cueing). I'm assuming this must be a software issue because the card works absolutely fine in all other circumstances.
However, when I do this, I get an awful distorted sound that somewhat resembles whats playing but is completely unusable. I was hoping for some assistance. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
If you need any more information about the setup feel free to ask.

I was praying that would work, but unfortunately no luck.
With that setup I don't get anything playing at all, i tried quitting Cue and restarting it to no avail.
Thanks very much for the help so far though.

Could it be the card?
If so, does anyone know something that will actually work with VDJ for mac?

Is it possible to setup with an M-Audio box, speakers and headphones with a Mac-mini? I've been trying to figure it out and had no luck. It seems I'll need to spend $100 on a USB audio drive plug in. But I was hoping I could substitute that with an M-Audio box. What should I do?
