Topic: sound effects on mac

Hi,

seems that all sound effects are exe files and so I'm unable to open or install them on my mac. Is there any way to do it anyway or are there any sound effects especially for macs?
Looking foward to a reply.

currently the soundplugins need to be recoded to mac format by their authors as its a different code

some , more plugins are likely to be included in the upcomming v5 update,
 
So now that the beta version is out are we gonna get to try out sound effects too or are they still in the process of being coded?
 
well they are made by users but work is in progess :)

to get some plugins out soon
 
i hope it will come soon :) i was very happy, when i saw there is a mac version, but i was also very sad, when i could not use any sound effects ://
 
Just wanted to understand what was available on MAC. I understand that the extra effects have been made by users for windows, so they might not be. However, does VJ still come with the standard bank of effects? For example, when I tried the demo on my PC, there was an effect of a record winding down/spinning back which was awesome. Is this available with the MAC version as a standard built in effect?
 
yes there is a bank of default fx :)
 
but they suck, i need some delays and stuff im dying here!
 
As skyfxl said, I have already translated some of my effects for the MAC version of VirtualDJ and they work well.

They will be released soon.
 
I have just uploaded on the website some video transitions for the MAC version of VirtualDJ

I will upload some sound effects later
