Is there any way to use more than 2 decks in VDJ?
Especialli appreciated when mixing acapella's on instrumental, keeping it running as a new version, and mixing into a third song...
Untill now, I haven't find this option.
If not available would be a nice to have.
Thx.

yes this is possible.
eneble multi users in the settings of vdj.
then you can open several vdj's at 1 time.
even beatmaching works. (read the helpfile)

djjb, do you mean that you can have 2 instances of vdj open and all 4 decks would simultaneously be able to sync and beatlock?

keyon: that's right. Look in the "Network sync" panel in the VDJ configuration ;)

but wasn't there another adress you have to type in for 2 vdj at one pc?

127.0.0.1 is a loopback interface, meaning that using this address will connect to your computer (the signal "loops back" to the computer that sent it).

I found this in the manual:
"Network
If you want to use more than two instances, or if you want mixer with several at the same
time, you can synchronize several VirtualDJ between them thanks to OSC protocol."
I have VDJ installed on the laptop I use for Djing, and installed on my desktop PC here at home.
I've now networked them, typed in the IP address, but now what? How do cross over from one computer to the other?

If you are recording a session with 2 instances of Virtual DJ will this record the sound from the other session as well?

@DjGazUK
You have to enable beatlock() on the decks to synchronyse them
