Does VDJ do this, or is there a way to do this? I have an opportunity to try another DJ's system at a club I work at, although I don't trust the other DJ.

vdj does not copy protect an external hd...you may be able to password protect it though...but seriously if you don't trust the other dj ...don't leave your gear...
