K, so heres the deal. I currently use a numark dxm06, and LOVE the effects, and features. Everything that I could want is in this mixer, except the x-fader isn't midi capable, and it is kinda showing signs of wear (Sometimes when I cut full left, you can still hear the right channel.) I was wondering how complicated it would be to add a high quality x-fader, that has midi capability (Like the NUO4) but just use the x-fader for the program, and the up and down faders would be for regular analog audio.
If this is possible then I would have the ultimate setup for my partiucular taste, and would take more of an interest in using TCV when I do gigs (Right now, I just use a mouse, which works, but I always want something more, something better)
Please lemme know if anyone has any experience with any of this, it would be very helpful.

Sure that's possible.
At least if you have some basic electronic skills etc.
In general you do it like this:
- Remove the cables from the XFADER to the PCB and replace it with some HQ fixed value resistors. This to center it.
- Connect the Xfader to a AD-USB card and then connect the USB cable to your computer.
- Have a small program that read the values of the Xfader and send its values as MIDI to VDJ.
Just like i did in my USB JOYStick/GamePAD to MIDI controller.

The mapper is available in the download section here at the site.
At the moment i'm working on a couple of new projects like this and as soon they are finished i will post them here. Including a Simple/cheap DIY MIDI Mixer.
