After the upgrade to V5.6 my folders in the browser don’t stay open anymore?
I Can activate the + sign & they will open for a few sec. but then there gone again?

Weird nobody with the same problem? I had to downgrade again to V4.x to solve the problem ?!

try to reinstall , make sure no screen saver , no wireless , no updates running ......no anti virus

Looks like its only you with that problem?, try a total fresh wipe of windows and VDJ sofware, and Re-Install all software and latest drivers, as it sounds like you have a virus.
The problem i have with v5.6 is when using search bar, its not finding all the music in the folder, hmmmm?
v5.5 was fine for serch, but v5.6 has some nice features, even tho. it handles files poorly e.i slow loading times, and out of SYnc Play back of music and video's and hich CPU useage. maybe a memory leak bug? and the Auto mix on one deck is scary, no one can see whats hpening next with files and it uses too much CPU power, (makes music skip and judder!)
Hope Problems are sorted soon and this info. is helpful

Can you give a little bit more info on what your situation is. When you say folders do mean the actual directory of folders or the playlist folders or virtual folder. Give us an example. Did you check you config settings. Because you did a install the setting may have defaulted.

@fatkatzdj, yes the actual directory of folders a/o virtual folders when I hit the + sign to open them they only stay open for a sec. and then close again.
It looks like a windows issue I agree but when I open the same folders through a browser (IE) they open normal.
When going back to 4.X everything is fine again? The PC is never connected to the internet so a virus looks not likely & I’ve used VDJ for +5years now so I’m aware of settings like wifi/firewall etc. they are all down & the program was running perfect in the 4X version
I only wanted to update to make sure I was up to date & able to install future updates.
I can’t track any config setting that allows you to set the folder time to be opened or am I missing something?
