Topic: Introduction?

I have been a member for a while, so I thought I would introduce myself...

My DJ name is DJ RPG. I have been DJing for about a year, playing trance, progressive, and sometimes other electronic music styles.

I am currently on iTunes, so I encourage you to check out my sets on the store. I run a radio-show/podcast every two weeks called the Trance Journey Podcast, and I play a mixture of brand new and older trance and progressive tunes. You mix with an Xponent and VirtualDJ eh? Care to comment on how you like the Xponent? I've been thinking of getting one.

Did you come from a background of mixing with vinyl, or have you always used software based playback?

Perhaps I'll tune into one of your broadcasts one of these days... sounds like good stuff!
 
Well, I haven't actually received the xponent yet...its on the way with ups :P

I come from a background of mixing mp3. I started out with VDJ, and I still use it. I've tried controllers like the Hercules dj control mp3 (junk), behringer bcd3000, numark total control, and now the xponent.

I am very new to this and DJing. Can you give me some advice. I wanna DJ and pipe it into a virtual internet lounge. Any Ideas?

Why not check out the Hercules Mk2 DJ console featuring VDJ home edition its every thing you need for starting out , to DJ in a program like Second Life you need to know the Ip Address of their shout-cast server , so you can point Virtual DJ at this.
