Does anyone know a workaround to get the Text 2D effect (great plugin by the way) to work
on 1024 x 728 screen resolution. It seems I can only get the whole text2D screen to fully appear on a 1280 x 1024 resolution?
I only get a partial text 2d Screen (doesn't show "apply and activate") on any other resolution besides 1280 x 1024 ?

All my monitors are that resolution and I have no problems with it.

If you change screen res of the video out window, or second monitor, Text 2d needs its positions changed to match.

fatkatzdj: All your computer monitors are 1024 X 728 ? What about the skins resolutin you are using? Also, what resolution is your second monitor? I just want to verify? Thanks?
Halo: What do you mean by changing your text @D''s position? How do you move it around, mine is planted at the lower right of VDJ 1024 X 728 screen, and is missing a small part of it? Can you explain to me how to change "its" position, as you stated?
Thanks guys, amd please respond again, as I'd like to get this figured out?

Ahhh - you're talking about the actual configuration window, not the output aren't you? I can't test it where I am right now, but I suspect the dialog window is sized for larger resolution screens. 1024x768 doesn't give much screen real estate I'm afraid.
One thing you can do is to find a skin (or customise one) to have a larger panel area for the browser/plugin area (which in turn means the waveform and deck displays will have to shrink).
Regards,
Scott

I see. My screen is set for 1024 X 728, I use a 1024 X 728 default pro skin, which, of course, fills the computer screen.
The second monitor is also set at 1024 x 728, so it is also identical output to the computer screen.
I am trying to show the text 2D congig window to be completely shown. It is only partially shown in the resolutions I use.
Any mre ideas from Halo, or even djcel or skyfxl?

I've just tested it here now I've had the chance, Text2D works fine at 1024x768 for me, I can see all the options and controls, whilst using the default skin...
Here's a screenshot @ 1024x768
What does yours look like by comparison? ( Full size shot is at image url, http://vdj.sbdj.co.uk/text2d.jpg )

Ahhh, your not talking about the ouput video, your talking about the config window. My bad, heave no heard of this issue i'm afraid.
If for some reason the 1024 skin wont show the whole plugin, the only idea I can come up with is rebuilding the skin, so the browser is slightly larger, to allow the plugin to fit correctly. A bit of a pain, but the only idea I can come up with.
Alternative is to try some different skins off the site for 1024, and try the plug on each one. They will all have different "Browser section" sizes, and one may just be big enough to fit the pluin in it fully.

I'll send you a picture tomorrow. laptop not here.
Is your screen itself at 1024 x 728.
And is this skin at 1024 x 728 as well.
I have been using the default pro 1024 x 728 skin on a screen that also is 1024 x 728.

I just checked my home computer: resolution 1280 x 1024
vdj5rev6 on default pro 1024 x 728
VDJ screen is about 2/3 of viewing screen as one would expect
However, apply and activate controls are not visible at all at the bttom
of the config screen, and about an inch of the right side is cut off too.

Open something like Paint, and do a paste. Then upload to something like imagebucket, and post in [ img ] tags, or a link :)

You keep saying 1024X728 in your posts is it 728 or 768?? This could be a good question.
Set your main to 1024X768 and let us know.

I hadn't noticed that, I just assumed 768... oops!

The plugin has a fixed window size and it doesn't auto-resize. It's something I forgot to add :-(
So it will depend of the skin you use

I noticed tonight that it also ; when activated, caused the video playing to go blank, but still allowing the scrolling titler to flash across with no video underneath, has that been fixed or is that still an issue with th the plugin.
It doesn't seem to work well with slideshow when slideshow is set to activate with audio's only's.?
What is up with that? ne1 know?
