you sure can with the dm2 to midi drivers search google for them
 
Only $80.00. Their online video demo does not show any scratching.. HMMmm... Can you or can' t you scratch with it?

should work, if it's mappable in midi

You can for sure with the Hercules console
 
Get the program "dm2 to midi" from pdoom! That program will enable you to map Midi events to the dm2!!
I made a setup for this with files for dm2tomidi and Virtual DJ (Shortcut & Skin).
I uploaded that setup file to the skin section here ... dunno know if it is downloadable so...
It's quite a workable setup --- i tested it alot and its FUNctional !!!!

The DM2 works great with VDJ, got mine for free, seen em for $10 on ebay. get pdooms DM2 to midi 1.0 first install it - this one has the DM2 drivers included, then install DM2 to midi 1.1, scratching works pretty well after messing with settings.
