I've always had trouble getting my Maya44usb working properly.
Has anyone got any experience with the following? I'm using timecodes. I'm also wondering if i'd be better with a firewire card?
M-AUDIO FAST TRACK PRO
or
ESI U46 SE
Is the ESI card similar to the ESI Maya44usb in its operation, or is there any improved performance?

if you are using tccd (if you are using TCV you might need phono preamps)the the Focusrite Saffire LE looks good, has good reviews and is under$250, I just ordered mine today.

Careful with the fasttrack pro. It shows that is has 4 in/4 out, but in reality, it has 4 analog out, 2 analog in, and 2 digital in.
This will only work if your turntables have digital outputs (Numark ttx1 or several stanton models)

By the way, the reason I'm looking for a new one is detailed in one of my other posts. Maybe someone reading this might have the solution to my problem, or help me from repeating a mistake with my next purchase.
