Okay I know there are some vinyl purest, but what actually works better?
I used Techics 1200's in the early 90's and am using TCCD's right now.... I only went with TCCD's cause I didnt want to have to be buying and loosing cartridges.... I will probably order TCVs for when I spin at places with tables only....

TCCD work better for me! because i cant get my vinyls to work prop. but working on that... if both would work the same i would go vinyl for sure... cant beat that control!

I have em both, both work great, however the benefit of tccd is that if your doing a gig/wedding and your system crashes, you have the cd player where you can keep the music going. So in one better than the other? If your systems configured properly, than the answer is no. Just a matter of preference.

I'm with ruudboy,
there's something about a pair of 1210's and vinyl.

I say its the mechanical vs virtual feeling... its like saying flying a flight simulator with a good quality joystick, VR head gear, moving seat and surround sound is the same as the real thing its just not! it gets close but is not the same...
Secondly the control for me of touching the vinyl and touching a spinning or a static platter on a cdj doesnt give the same feedback and control..

I wanted that vinyl feel too and thats why I picked up the Numark CDX's....
As far as system crashes, I always have an iPod and playlist ready to go in a seconds notice.... The last gig I had issues with, I ended up restarting my system a few times and swapped out my laptop three times... The crowd didnt even notice once....

Its really down to the users preference they work just as well,
remember you will need a cd player with a vinyl emulation feature for tcv to work.
