I just bought the numark total control i'm right now waiting for delivery and was wondering how do you hook it up with the maya 44 sound card? How do you monitor your next song. Right now i'm using just the program Cue with too sound cards a single audio output by turtle beach for my headphone monitoring and a maya 44 usb for my main output also i'm using 'no' ttables or cds what would be the best sound setup for me using the maya 44 sc along with Cue & Total Control? And yes i already know about the Numark DJ I/O nice but i'm not trying to spend anymore money unless i have to if the maya 44 will do the job then thats all i need!!! One more thing is there any pics on the web where it shows the connections on the Numark total control?

Does Numark total control have a headphone plugin?

The total control has no soundcard , its just a controler.
You can use the maya with an external mixer for your cueing/mixing.

No you would hook your speakers up to the Front speaker outs on your soundacrd and your headphones to the rear speaker outs on your soundcard.
Config/soundcard/simple/headphones. In CUE.

Ok i found the way to monitor my songs and play to the public using just the maya 44 the only thing is the monitor volume is not that loud in the haedphones and one speaker only plays but i guess i have to get a spliter rca 1 male into 2 females so i can hear both speakers on my headphone. Right now i use my maya 44 for the output and a turtle beach single audio output to monitor my song and that thing is loud as hell. Any suggestions guys on the monitor volume with the maya 44 sound card?

I use a 19" Club mixer and the Maya44 with TCDs... When I monitor a song it give me the option to monitor on A or B. I use VDJ5 now and always have the music playing on A and I monitor on B. Since I use B for scratching with the clone feature, it really works out...

Does anyone know if the headphone volume output is loud on the dj/io? I need to know before i buy cause with my maya 44 sometimes i can't hear my headphones in a very loud enviorment. So i'm hopping the dj/io has a louder headphone output!!
