Hi i have been hovering on this forum but not posted

i got a hercules dj control mk 1 for christmas, and have been messing around with it and having fun. vdj 3 came bundeled with it , but it annoys me the way i cannot pre listen through the phones , as i understand this is a feature for pro users ?

if i upgrade to the latest edition of vdj 5 pro edition , will it work with the mk1 , does it require configuring to use the headphones - or should i just save my money and stick with what i got ?

If you have a MKI no because you would need at least a 4.1 sound card to direct the channels. Now if you have a MKII then your already equiped with the proper soundcard thats installed in the system. You probably havent configed the VDJ to know where to send the channels. So which on unit do you have MK 1 or Mk 2
 
I have an MK1 and Virtual DJ pro and I can do it no problem with mine. I have to find my post with the instructions on how to do this.
 
i have a mk 1

i have a 5.1 soundcard with the spaekers in one channel and headphones in the other

i vdj configured for the hercules in the remote control and soundcard settings

????

also what version of vdj are you running ?
 
 
cheers for the help but those instructions are for a mk2 , the mk1 does not have a headphone socket
 
Glad it helped, but I know mine is an MK1. It has to be, anyway I dont use it anymore. Anymore questions, just ask.
