I have a hercules mk1 and i am running numark cue 4.0. and every time i try and turn up the bass it sound somewhat distorted.
does anyone have ideas.

Do you have all the newest drivers installed?
 
It's usally the speakers, turn the volume down and try it and if its ok then the speaker can't handle it that's all. I never turn the bass up on a mixer because I usally run it quit loud and the speakers would pop, you need a Peavey kosmos is you want bass it adds a delay that imatates bass its much cleaner.
 
what do i do if it says the skin has a higher resolution than my pc
 
do any one know how do i hold the beat on a music with virtual dj 5.0 please need help
 
@antone, by turn up the bass, how 'much' do you turn up the bass? and what is the level meter showing?

@marc, i think you need to find a skin which suits your resolution setting. i know some skins will stretch to a larger size to fit, but im not sure the reverse applies

Press B on ur keyboard to activate Beatlock;) unpress will deactivate it.

Set ur Pc resolution higher. Or as Paz said, find a skin which suit ur resolution setting.

Try in herc control panel, make the volume 3/4 not all the way;) It should be ok now.
 
hello fellow Deejays? am currently in the market of buying a new mixer. does anyone one have any suggestions, am thinking either the hercules mk2 with the built in soundcard or the numark total control or one of the behringer mixers. any feedback would be awesome thanks. and keep on spinning!
