hello fellow Deejays? am currently in the market of buying a new mixer. does anyone one have any suggestions, am thinking either the hercules mk2 with the built in soundcard or the numark total control or one of the behringer mixers. any feedback would be awesome thanks. and keep on spinning!

i bought a berhinger mixer 18 months ago. i chose it as it had 4 mic inputs (for karaoke use) and it was small.
In less than 6 months, 1 mic input had given up, 12 months, 2 had. now only one still works.
Im about to replace it, probably going to get a Citronic.
I also had a berhinger cross over, lasted 9 months & was hardly ever used.

Do you want an all in one unit? Have you seen all the new stuff that was showcased at the NAMM last week? There is a new Hercules that you may want to look at, if you like Hercules.

Also decide what you want out of a mixer. Do you need 2 or 4 channels, extra mic input, speaker output ( balance or unbalanced ), how much of an eq you need. affect, midi control.
after your concerns have been met then decide on budget of how long your planning on keeping this mixer. Is it something that's going see a whole lot of practice but not much live work or is it strickly for live and so you need it to be more dependable.
