hmmm.... nice video, but next to the fancy new looks and ofcourse the moustache ;-) there's nothing that makes me leave the mkII...

for now...

Does anyone know yet if you can use the jog wheel to stop the track and release it when you need to vinyl style

Is that guy meant to be a salesman?

No, you can't because the Jog wheels aren't touch sensitive.

Controllers with touch sensitive platters/jogs are usually more expensive (just like CD players), The Vestax VCI-100 would be the professional equivalent of the RMX and does feature touch sensitive jogs.

I'm definately gonna be gettin' one of these. It actually doesn't look like a toy...way to go Hercules for entering the semi-professional market!
Interesting that there is no optional power supply, only power off of USB. Guess not enough people used it or there was no point for it.

dudes sensitivity and "kill buttons" can be programmed into your MK2's, i have programmed mine to have them, the MK2 is a midi controller hence do what i did, find a mate who can program like a pro and get him to fiddle with it, i have a very sweet mapper if anyone wants it, my jog wheel sensitivity is very accurate and i have kill buttons plus a ton of other stuff programmed on it and i just keep adding on to it, i think this new hercules will be cool but i don't see anything new on it that i don't already have or can't program on my MK2,

I wouldn't mind getting a hold of that mapper off you if you don't mind. Please send me a pm. Cheers

The VCI 100 doesn't have a sound card does it?
And hey, I would like to see the mapper as well, if you don't mind. Kind sir. : )
email at TDRocks@gmail.com or PM me.

The VCI 100 doesn't, but I think the VCI 300 does.

No the VCI-100 doesn't feature a soundcard. At first I considered this a bad thing, but the inclusion of a high quality soundcard would have pushed the unit price up too high, and caused a difficulty for those many digital DJ's who have one or more soundcards already good to go.

So how much money is it going to cost?

Ok, I'm sold
