I bought the Rane serato package but the program that comes with it is crapy. i was wondering if theres a way that i can use the virtual dj console program with the sound card from the Rane Serato along with the cds that came with the Serato?

yes you can use the sound card with a windows computer if you download the latest drivers from the scratch live form and as far as using the cds no you cant you can download the free ones from virtual dj website
 
You can not use the card with the DJC Edition. You would need to upgrade to the VirtualDJ Pro Version.
 
works fine in Pro version,
just waitin for someone to write the serato TCV pluging, so i can use those as well.

i made a killa set of custom VDJ TCV's from a cutter with the timecode audio, Thanks to open source, but thoose i keep just for looks... for now
 
So i guest i got to go buy the pro version. Well its about time my skills have been passed the console level and ready for the big machines LMAO!!!!!! Thanx guys

Maybe it's crappy to him, because his standards are different, and he's not playing the same game.
 
I can`t get why somebody buys SSL to say that the software sucks. The focus on SSL is to control digital music with "standard" media with the focus on vinyl which makes it the most stable DVS system on the market even on "low level" computers.
If you want more features into your software there`s VDJ for example - so why you bought SSL then ?
