Topic: What other things can I plug into my MK2?

I just ordered an MK2, still haven't gotten it yet. I have two questions. First, can I connect a different mixer to the hercules, so I dont have to use the one it comes with? And it comes with a dedicated software of Virtual Dj 3.0. Is there somehow I can upgrade that to the newest version without having to completely buy the new version?

if you have a valid console serial number you can upgrade at a
discount
 
You can set the MK2 up in external mixer mode. The procedure is in the manual that comes with it, when you finally get the bugger ;)
