In 5.07 I am missing some titles and all the bpm's.
I just completed a fresh install.
First I installed 3.4. Checked out fine. everything was showing.
So I set it up to keep 3.4 before continuing the upgrade.
Installed ver 4.0 then 4.3 then 5.0 and finally 5.07.
Then I opened ver 5.07 and many song titles were not showing up, as well as all the bpm's gone.
I recursed, then did a check drive then clean and fix. Still not showing up.
This is a Toshiba laptop satellite A35 dual core processor 1 gb ram.
I really am at a lose here. Anyone have any suggestions please.
Also is there a way to just delete 5.07 without deleting 3.4??
forgot to mention also on some items the first letter is missing. Example Aretha shows as retha.

Try recurse, then right-click the folder that you recursed and choose "add to search DB." That should help with the missing songs.
For the BPMs, create a filter folder with the command: isscanned=0 and then select all of the tracks (ctrl+a) and re-analyze them.
Oh, and I forgot...Was your complete rig, including external drives, connected when you opened 5.0.7 for the first time?

Yes external drive was hooked prior to opening 5.07.
Nothing should be lost when updating.
Also this in with Vista which I forgot to mention.

i lost my whole video folder when i updated to rev7!!! i went back to rev6 and it was there again!?!?! also can you guys make the install process a one step thing instead of having to install vdj 3 times!!! what ever happened to the full install files?
