Topic: What mixers are you using???

Dieses Thema ist veraltet und kann veraltete oder falsche Informationen enthalten.

Requirements for me are: a mixer that fully integrates mixer hardware, software and software controls in one powerful package.

Now that might be considered plagiarism so let me say I just got it from a ttm 57sl promo.....there.... I prefer virtual dj and if its not too much
plugin work then I might end up with one of those. I'm having to do a lot of videos and the combo of my beloved mk2 and my external mixer is
getting to be a pain. I use turntables and use scratches, beat juggling and quick cue point hitting and looping a whole lot. So while for audio I
have been content with using the two, videos involve crossfader work that would be better if it were just one mixer.

Help!!!

That's funny.

i have the xone:3d. its awesome and well worth the price. however if you are a turntablist, you can get by without one. the main thing i use the xone:3d for are the midi controls. see my blog and you can see the last post was about my map that I created. the xone:3d wont necessarily help you with turntablism directly but it will allow you to keep all controls very close at hand. i use the flippin double effect with the onboard filter ALL the time. having it on the mixer is so much better. when you need to move your hand in a complex mix from mixer to somewhere on laptop, it takes time and there is risk of hitting the wrong key when you have to move quick. this is actually something the turntablists will appreciate. imagine having to do some complicated tricks when your turntable is 2 feet off the side and not immediatley in front of you.

if the xone:3d doesnt strike your fancy, then the xone:92 is cheaper and all the same controls. you could variably buy a xone:2d which is only the midi control part. a&h has superior sound quality over all other mixers i've tried. they have the magnetic sliders like rane, but sweet sounding eqs, where rane is pretty good but a bit flat.

if ur serious about sound, make the investment. personally, i dont mind the pioneer mixers but they arent built very sturdy and the sound is far less quality than the a&h.

but right now im trying to convince my friend to be an ecler evo5 so he can tell me if it's any good compared to his a&h xone:92 (which got trashed in shipment)
