Hello,
My laptop has a little freez problem when I load a second video while the first is playing.
Laptop has a 512 shared ATI 2600 videocard and memory is 3 gb.
Wich service can I disable without any problem.
I will only use the laptop for gigs, so no internet or something else.

Is the actual software freezing or is the Main video output freezing or monitor window freezing but not the output?

Now it's just a little freezing with this option in virtualdj :
Preset = Fastest
Latency = 2048
Safe mode and Overclock marked
Basic interpolation
Simple algorithm
Master tempo is fast
Can't get it better without a fraction of freezing

i don't know why will you buy a laptop with shared videocard memory,it not good to do
geposted Sun 02 Mar 08 @ 1:24 pm
Because it doesn't matter if it's shared or not.
On this forum, they told me that de Nvidia 8 was the problem and not the shared memory.
Some people here, gave me the advice to buy a laptop with an ATI card.
The problem was the Nvidia card they said.
I believed it because last half year I had these problems with laptops that has a Nvidia 8 ... card.
