I'm curently using Mixvibes. But I'd like to try something else. VirtualDJ looks like something I'd try. Can I use the Mixvibes vinyl to control VirtualDJ? I've seen on this very forum that there are some issues with non-VDJ timecode re: absolute mode. Are there any plugins available to sort this/are there likely to be in the future?

I don't think you can use your Mixvibe Timecodes to control VirtualDJ, mine you some user's have limited success with Serato vinyls.
As for the plugins, there are none at the moment, but some user might pick up the challenge soon, I know someone is having a go with a plugin for the Serato timecodes.
But you can buy the VirtualDJ Timecodes instead, from the site. I ordered a pair, and if you live in the UK it works out about £30, with p+p, and they arrived in 3 days. Not bad really.

You can also purchase VV replacement vinyls from Numark parts or a dealer.
But also , in the Usa and the Uk the VDJ shipping is excellent having had a part in the setup of the uk system i can comfirm it is very fast indeed.
Shipping to the world is is also very good any holdups are usually down to clearance in customs in the destination country some country's have awful customs.
