Gang -
I used VDJ for my last two events. 1st was a basic event (background music) and 2nd was a wedding.
1st thoughts... I was very nervous and unease. Been using old red since 2001. I WANT VDJ to work and be my only tool.
How can I get the autocue to line up to the 1st sound (skip past the silence)? PCDJ has a threshold setting.
How does one set a cue point aka standard means? I am using the DMC-1 and optional plugin for it.
Waitlist - is there an easy way to manage it vs the side list?
Anything else that would help?
Thanks gang!

1. in the playlist click on the + symbol > "automix type" >"fade (remove silence)"
2. i don't use the dmc-1, so i can't tell you.
3. waitlist, nope.
4. learn to use the keyboard and the loop functions.

Thanks -
I saw the playlist automix setting but not what I'm looking for. When I load either player, I have to manually set the cue point.
Maybe this could be a 'feature' for the next version?

you need to set the cue points once on the track and it will remember it.

An easy way to set cue point is to get the track cued to where you want to place the cue point, then press the CTRL key plus the a number. For instance to place one of three cue points press CTRL-1, CTRL-2, etc...
