STOP PRESSS! EVERYBODY READ THIS! RE dac2 problems.....
Ive had problems using my dac 2, i ve installed mapper, and drivers etc...
The Answer is simple - check the device manager, go to the com ports tab. if your DAC2 is set to port 10, it wont work. Re-assign it to com port 1! its that simple!!!!!!

There seems to be a fair number of Dj's having trouble with the dac2, all asking for ideas. I know very little about computers, so when i discovered why my DAC2 wasnt working, i thought it would be nice to share my findings - sorry if that bothers anyone. If youve not had a problem with your dac2 - why read the message?

That was from 3 months ago and the issue at the time was the rev6 version of the software. This forum is very active, if the post is older than 3-4 weeks it is probably solved or been reposted again by someone else.
